Mövenpick Hotel Doha

A conveniently placed hotel close to the airport yet within walking distance of old Doha, the waterfront and Souq Waqif. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and welcoming, particularly the receptionists on the front desk, Namal in the restaurant, the waitress in the jazz bar and Hussan the Duty Manager. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities you would require, like ironing board, safe and hairdryer with good views over the sea and Corniche and the gym was very well equipped. The breakfast were amazing and probably the best we have had in any hotel. Great value for money.

I enjoyed my stay at Movenpick for a number of reasons, 1) The location is excellent to easy to get the tourist sites by foot or taxi 2) Room was a good size and regularly cleaned 3) The staff were really good and thats what made my stay great Hamza from the front desk, very helpful and supportive - The pool guy who managed the steam room was always very chirpy and smiley - the doormen were great and friendly and considerate 4) The breakfast was good with a decent variety - Hasan Ali and the Chef Suraj are good at their craft and very helpful

Breakfast was great - great selection and variety to meet requirements of guests from different areas of the world; fantastic staff and service attending to your needs/making sure you are happy and satisfied; and very tasty. Rooms were lovely and spacious - we were travelling with our baby so he had plenty of space to crawl and play!

Location, house keeping, quick service, quick check in and check-out , nearby gas station and mini market The breakfast was ok.

Location was great, the major sights (from Souq to National Museum) were within walking distance, at least in December. OK, within a few blocks there must be a dozen other hotels as well. Also the location made a quick access to and from the airport possible. Room (423) was very roomy. Breakfast was very good and the staff there was superb.
